In addition to these changes, I am making improvements to the Web site in order to:
- Automatically convert .wav uploads to MPEG-4 Audio so Mr. Henry and Ms. Christopoulos can download them more quickly;
- Improve the organization of this Web site's pages so that you can find what you need more quickly;
- Refresh the code by moving it to a more reliable, more versatile, and more powerful backend, powered by Zend Framework.
Welcome Back!
It is now less than one week before the 2008-2009 school year officially begins for students at Richmond Hill High School. The Music Department welcomes returning and new students to what will undoubtedly be another exciting year.
The new school year also means the continuation of the ensembles, which will resume as follows:
- Gold Band — Tuesday, September 16
- Silver Band — Friday, September 19
- Concert Band — Wednesday, September 17
- Gold Fever — Wednesday, October 1
- Concert Choir — Thursday, September 18
Enjoy the last week of your summer break, and remember, the first day of school for Grades 10 to 12 is Wednesday, September 3.
